Malone Family Campout 2009

This summer we went camping for a week up in the white mountains with my family. My kids LOVE camping and they were so excited to be going for that long. We had beautiful weather and even got some rain. We stayed at a camp ground because my family are whimps and cant do without a bathroom. But we had a great spot with lots of room and trees.

What would we do without Jackie and her craftiness. She came prepared with games and crafts to keep the kids busy and occupied.
There is nothing better than dirty camping faces. No matter how many times I wiped this girl down, she still looked like this.

Avery and Finny developed a special bond. Ok, so Avery more than Finny.

I just love these pictures. These are the 2 babies of the family

Tyler couldnt stand it. He wanted his picture taken too!!!

This was the kids favorite game because they got to eat loads of candy. Im not even sure of the name of the game.

I just had to throw this one in-such a cutie.

Nothing like playing in the dirt for fun.

The kids all decorated hats and wore them all week. Some of them were actually pretty good

You cant really see Lani's but hers turned out pretty cute.

So did Maddy's

The kids decided to play a little game of baseball. This was during Tysons obsession with baseball, and he thought he was a pro pitcher.
Here he is in all his glory...

The concentration...

The windup...
The delivery...

Avery wanted to play too.
So did Finny

What form!!!

Daddy to the rescue. These things always seem to end up with someone crying.
It wouldnt be camping without a little singing. Dad brought his guitar to drown out the tone deaf families. Ok, so just MY tone deaf family.

The kids loved the music and all of them crowded around to sing some hymns. One of the days we were there was a Sunday, so we had our own little service.

Debbie prepared a lesson for the adults
Finny was so into it, that he fell out of his chair!

Trent and Jackie prepared an object lesson about holding on to the rod.

Some of the kids made it and others had to be helped

There was too much temptation and the little ones started to go astray

But not Taylor, she didnt listen and she held to the rod.

Jonas found some beauty in the woods and picked a small boquete for his mommy. SO sweet!

Who knows what Noah was doing here. I think by the end of the week, these kids were bored, dirty and ready to go home.

We cant wait for the Malone family vacation of 2010, whatever that may be!! A cruise maybe??
