Snow Days

Snow, snow and more snow. This last weekend it poured snow-I think we got about 8 inches or so and we are expecting snow the rest of the week. The kids love it and are outside as much as they can. Its so hard for me to get used to all the many layers of clothes on all the kids. Its weird not being able to let them run outside with no shoes on. My favorite part is when I just mop the floor and they trek in snow and mud all over the place. Have I mentioned how much I love it here???

The kids look SO cute in these pics! It looks like so much fun, but I know it's probably hard getting used to everything after being in AZ your whole life. At least you're getting some really cute pictures and the kids look like they're having a blast. We can't wait to see you guys soon!

shelly, i told you a while ago i secretly read your blog. now i have to comment about living in the snow! it is hard to get used to!(i live in Idaho now, and man do i miss az this time of year!) but arent you glad your kids have fun in it?! even when they do wreck a clean floor after playing in it! I totally feel for you, i have the same problem....good luck on making the adjustment. i think winter lasts forever in this part of the country! your kids are too cute!

I can't believe you live in snow!! I was in shorts today. Your kids are so cute. But I don't know if I could deal with the clothes and shoes on and off and on and off and on and off. I would freak out all day.

I can handle like one snow day a year. Living in it would be a totally different story. Fun for the kids...lots of extra work for you!

I can't even imagine what your mornings are like before school with all the extra gear! Do you have a mud room? Isn't that wear you make them strip before they come in the house with all the wet shoes and clothes...or did I make that up? Mess or no mess, they look like they are loving it!

That looks so cold and SO FUN! My kids would be jealous! I am with you on the mud thing. We've had plenty of rain here, and living off a dirt road without ladscape is just asking for a big mess!!!
